As some of you maybe aware, I am travelling Oz with the family, fishing my way around this great country. A few weeks ago we stopped at Pardoo Station (North West WA) and spend the high tides most days fishing the local creek. The fishing was excellent with Giant and Blue thread fin Salmon being caught every days.. the occasional mud crab too (when we felt like crawling through knee high mud :). Some pictures attached.

No crocs yet.. up in Broome currently, so keeping my eye peeled for the crocs in the creek. Fishing not been that great up here so far.

Don't think so.. just nothing liking the mullie's or the metal slices. Think they might be on a diet :)

A few years ago we spent several days stuck at Pardoo Roadhouse, waiting for rain to stop. It was part of cyclone Hubert, which followed Cyclone Glenda down the west coast. We never struck the wind part, but the rain was beyond comprehension. At that time, the population at Pardoo has had an enormous percentage increase. Previously only three, a little one was born and 33% increase occurred overnight. Wonderful place WA, and Broome was among many favourites. Old fisho
