Mate carp are great for beginners, although they do not like heavy footfalls, and they can really pick up on vibrations.
Yes good question, as I only sight fish for them, I rarly target fish under this size, and in the Turon fish under 60cm are rare anyway. Great idea though, good on you Cheers Pete

That's part of the challenge, the carp can't be under 9 centimeters or over 60 centimeters to qualify.

As in 'mystery length'? So you have a pre-determined length and when someone achieves it...they win?

Also, a suggestion, when the comp starts, should you include a code word that has to appear in the pic so you know it is not an old photo? the regular posters here are honest but as soon as you mention the word prize, some newcomers may do anything.

And for the record, you mentioned on another thread that I may have put up some prizes for comps on the previous TBX. That was on another forum.
    cheers
    Team Bender
Has this one in the bag!

Thank's for the advice Jim, a code word will be added to the rules.
Yes there is a pre-determined length, the first member that complies with all the rules and the Carp is the correct length is the winner.

Damn, there goes my entry. There are no carp up here (yet), so I thought I might sneak an old pic into the mix that was snapped down on the Murray a few years back. It's getting to the stage that a man can't even honestly cheat anymore.

Great idea, I'm fishing the Burrendong Classic over the Easer break and normally bag plenty of carp.
