    Hi Guys @ Gals.
I am looking at a second hand quintrex 385 Explorer, but have been told that they are a very "wet' boat if there is even the slightest chop on the water. I would only be using it in estuaries, but prefer to stay dry if possible. I have also been told that they are a fairly stable in the water.
Look forward to reading your replies about this boat. Would I be better with a deep V boat about the same size.?
    Cheers. Yoey.

    G'day Yoey,

I have a Quintrex 385 Explorer with a 15HP Mariner on the back and have been on the bay many times when it has been slightly choppy and have to say that it isnt a wet boat but I have found it to be actually very dry. As for stability it is great aswell, we can have 2 people standing on one side of the boat and it tilts the slightest bit.

    Hope this helps,

    Nick
