Looks a bit cold, but at least you were out on the water AJ. Cheers, creekboy.
This is the first time I have fished the Goulburn river in a few months because of the weather and river raising all the time.
The fishing was really slow but once the sun went down the fish come out to eat and 2 in half an hour.
All the banks are still muddy witch made things a bit difficult.
Better than nothing! Although it (catching carp) may be a sign of things to come as the only fish I have caught locally is one carp! Anyway, the natives must still be around. Did you try and get any shrimp?
The fishing was good on my last post so I decided to try tonight as well and it terned out very well. 2 carp, 1 Yalla, 1 tiny Murray cod, 2 silver perch and 1 small trout cod.
Well done, AJ. Nice yella there. Cheers, creekboy. (Lyall)
There are plenty of carp to have fun with at this spot so my brother and I are trying to reduce the population.
Keep up the good work on the mudsuckers, AJ. Cheers, creekboy (Lyall).
