With the opening of the Murray Cod season only a few weeks away I have started my let's get ready plans for the opening.
New braid on a couple of reels.
Made some new lures, swimbaits and hard bodies.
    Getting the camping gear sorted.
Making sure the boat and motor are good to go.
    Counting Down
    Cheers Jed

Nice there are some nice fish in that area.
I took a mate fishing who had never caught a cod and we trolled up a 80cm cod between Toolamba and Mooroopna a few years ago.
He wont forget his first cod ha.

Well less than twelve hours for the super keen, and one more sleep for the others. I hope it will be a good season for all especially after the lock down for are Melbourne fisho's.

Good luck mate I know plenty of people have been catching them while chasing yellas so it should be a good season.

Hi Jed,how did you go fishing in the Bundalong area? I was very surprised that the fishing had been
quiet opening week, even though there was a lot more fisho's having ago.

    It was tough.
fished 3 days for 2 fish. One on bait (yabbie). it was small so did not bother taking a measurement.
Got a 59cm on the troll on a codger. Released to grow to a grand old age. (or get caught by a hungry fisherman)
Lost two good fish on yabbies as well.
Water was blackish and dirty which I don't think was helping the lure fishing.
    Cheers Jed.
