Hmmm how many rods

    Ok guys and girls better not let the other half see this how many rods do you have even if you have not used it for years.

    I only have four all are spin rod's, two rods are old but I still use them the most. Being a bait person you dont need as many I would guess as a lure, plastics or finnese person.

    I am with you tack, just in 6wt flyrods i have three, 5wts two, 7wt one, 8wts three, 9 wt one. them God knows how many bait casters and spinning rods i have. Most are getting long in the tooth as i have not brought any in the last 10 years.

    Yes and no mate, i keep my fly reels in pouches in a tub, and i may use three different reels on a particular rod over a fews days, Eg one with a floating weight forward line, one with a slow sink or intermediate and one with a fast sinking line . Mostly if no one is around i will rig up different reels for different purposes on different rods. But if staying in a caravan park or state rec area I will only rig up one, to easy for one to go missing.

    Later on when I get home I will count my reels some of them go back to the 1950s just centre pin sidecast but I have some old egg Beaters from the 80's .
