I like it.
I have left a few snags looking like that in my time. Cheers, Lyall.
A few more posts today, very good, keep em coming. Cheers, Lyall.
Lol looks like some of the mangroves in the Kimberley I used to take my fishing guest too....
There are a few spots up Cape York with similar trees also, Tim.
I might have to plant a couple of old lures and see if I can grow my own .
we could use a few rapala trees jeff.
Could be a problem with rapalas, Blair, I don't have any spare seed stock. I've got an old Nilsmaster and maybe fertilise it with a handful of chopped up Squidgies - who knows what sort of weird hybrid could result.
maybe a sqidgmaster tree, carve into lures sort of rubber timber hybrid, probably a real fish catcher!
There's lots of trees in Eucumbene dressed like that by the many trollers there. Some guys make lots of dollars collecting them when the level goes down and selling them at trash and treasure. Of course most also have Ford Fenders or some other attracter attached as well. I was putting up our Christmas tree yesterday and tested Boss's sense of humour by hanging half a dozen lures on it. Be warned; it's not a recommended practice.
Should have taken the trebles off 1st noel, although a few gifts hanging off the the trebles would help keep the peace though. which reminds me I better go and get something for my fuhrer for xmas.
