    G'day everyone,

I have a 15 horse power Mariner on the back of our tinny and we are travelling to the Cod Classic from Geelong, I am after some information about what position to have the out board in or what you guys do or use? I have looked at the Outboard Support Brackets and they look pretty good, just after your thoughts.

    G'Day

I also use one of those outboard brackets on my 40hp Yammy, works a treat and saves putting holes in your transom or possibly busting the tilt lock on the outboard.
    I wouldn't travel without it.

out board brakets are worth their wieght
if travaling any reasoable distance they prevent damage to the out board tilt locks and pivot points
cheap insurance to an outboard whilst travling :D

    No they stay on good.
You use a strap that goes from the trailer around the outboard and back to the trailer.
