I’m taking some sick leave for a few weeks Kev
I hope its nothing to serious ......
Kev, is that fact or just a name for a spell?
Did you fill out your leave form kev? don't want u to get into trouble.
Take it easy, all the best, cheers davo
I Have been having trouble with my right shoulder for a while, now all the results are back, bone to bone, full width tendon tear, plus a heap of other medical BS. My GP said no surgeon would operate due to my heart condition. All operations are out. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with a Physio today. He agrees with my GP no operations. I have another appointment with him on Friday, he is going to research a few shoulder braces as well as alternative treatment.
We had a great time at Yarrawonga, I only wet a line once in the 5 days we were there. I didn't do enough research, school holidays and a public holiday. Wall to wall fisho's. Coming home my shoulder was playing up and I had the sh#ts with the world. Great to be home.
Bugger! Is it your casting side Kev?
Yep most certainly is
Damn, make that a double bugger.
I'll see how a brace goes, if I have problems I will have to be a left handed fisho
That's no good Kev at least you had a good time in Yarrawonga
Perhaps we should design a foot operated catapult to help out your catsingev. Casting though is one thing. Doing battle with a decent fish is another. We all hope it improves at least a bit to enable you to have a fish without discomfort.
As they say; keep your pecker up. Don't let it get to you.
Is it the sort of thing that may get better over time Kev? Anything they can give you to assist repairs (industrial version of glucosamine or something)?
Fingers crossed some down time brings you some relief and you can get back out there soon.
And +1 for the distaste for crowds and getting the sh1ts. At least the trip sounds to have been otherwise enjoyable.
The Doctor and Physio both agree nothing can be done. At this stage the Physio is giving massage a go. Today we disgust the use of a support. I hope to get one next Friday. I must be out of warranty everything's starting to stuff up
Hope u get well soon Kev, maybe one of those pipe thingos that fire out your sinker whith expolsive charge whith leader, line and baited hook attached will do if catupault not available.
I chased up a price on an electric reel, Lyn's reply was no bloody way. The one I looked at was only $1600. I don't know what all the fuss was about.
Acknowledging this is just a lesser version of expensive and I don't know what style of fishing you do, you can go cheaper on electric reels:
Thanks RBF. I could never master an overhead reel. I'm going to wait and see how this support works.
Lyn was obviously against the $1600 reel because u don't have a $1600 dollar rod to put it on, just tell her that u wre advised by a bloke called Rod Bender who is a financial genius and has made a lot of money by investing in high end fishing gear and gives expert financial advice for free to other fishermen, that should get some reaction from Lyn , Let me know if u survive mate
