What size electric motor should i get?

    hey everyone,
    just bought a savage 3.8m tinnie, what size electric should i get for it? want to use it in googong and eucembeine so need it big enough to get places but slow enough to troll for cod,
    all your help much appreciatted!!!

    id go 55 pound thrust if its going to be the only motor on the boat. if your also going to have an outboard then 40 pound will be fine.

    I have a Watersnake 55lb bow mount on my 3.8 Makocraft. It pushes it along nicely.

    I have a watersnake also and have been more than happy with it.. It is used in the salt down here a no dramas as yet..
